At Urban Cookery, we’re committed to providing fun, interactive, and memorable cooking experiences. To help us deliver the highest quality classes, please take a moment to read through our refunds and returns policy.
1. Class Cancellations (By Us)
In the rare event that Urban Cookery needs to cancel a class (e.g. due to low sign-ups or unforeseen circumstances), we will notify you at least 48 hours in advance. You’ll be given the option to:
- Receive a full refund, or
- Reschedule for another available class at no additional cost.
2. Customer Cancellations & No-Shows
If you need to cancel your booking:
- 24 hours’ notice or more: You may choose a full refund or reschedule your class at no cost.
- Less than 24 hours’ notice: Unfortunately, no refunds or credits will be given. This is due to the fresh food purchases and preparation required for each class.
- No-shows will be treated as late cancellations and are non-refundable.
3. Rescheduling
You may reschedule your booking free of charge, provided at least 24 hours’ notice is given.
4. Gift Vouchers
- Gift vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
- If you are unable to attend a class booked with a voucher, please give us at least 24 hours’ notice to reschedule your class using the same voucher.
5. Private Bookings & Group Events
For private events (e.g. birthdays, team buildings, or corporate bookings):
- A minimum of 72 hours’ notice is required to qualify for a full refund or to reschedule.
- Cancellations made with less than 72 hours’ notice are non-refundable, due to the upfront costs of ingredients and planning.
6. Exceptional Circumstances
We are unable to offer refunds or credits for cancellations made under 24 hours—even in the case of medical emergencies or unforeseen events. We appreciate your understanding, as costs are incurred ahead of each class.
