Inspired by Daniel’s heritage, Urban Cookery’s Mediterranean Night In explores the culinary trends shared by a diverse array of people that live in the region around the Mediterranean Sea. This class will include an interactive evening showcasing necessary winter ingredients like butter, cream and joy! Our recipes will come from around the world but will be connected by the fact that they are all deeply comforting dishes.

VARIED CROQUETTES

A basic recipe with the addition of chorizo and red onion/leeks. Served with a Mojo Picante and Spanish Red Pepper Sauce.

 

MEDITERRANEAN CHICKEN

Accompanied by artichokes, sun-dried tomatoes, capers, flat-leaf parsley, olive oil, lemon juice and served with a Salsa Verdi and Stacked Garlic Bruschetta.

 

ZUCCHINI SALAD

A fresh blend of zucchini, dill and yoghurt served with almonds.

 

RICOTTA CAKE

Gooey Orange and Ricotta Cake served with a Mascarpone and Lavender Cream.
